Professionally, she is a writer, editor and marketer.
In the SaaS space, she started her content marketing career at the agency Animalz before going freelance in 2020.
She enjoys working for companies with software tools that help non-technical people get their jobs done, including tools for workspaces, productivity and project management; and any software that makes someone’s life easier.
She holds a BA in English from Williams College and an MPhil in American Literature from the University of Cambridge. She has also studied at the University of Edinburgh. Her academic interests include: contemporary fiction, prizewinning books, life writing, sportswriting, technology, digital media, mass culture, memory and narrative theory.
Lauren was previously a senior staff reader at the literary journal Five South. She is a former editor at the Cambridge Review of Books. She is a serious amateur film photographer and all photos on this site are hers.
